The historian has been the director of the Volhynian Resettlement Museum in Linstow since 2019. His current research focuses on the life of the Volhynian Germans in the Soviet Occupation Zone/GDR and on collaborating with partners from Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Poland on the history of the multi-ethnic region of Volhynia.
